The topic of child abuse is a tough one.
We’ve been providing guidance and support for over 40 years.
LET’S TALK
YOUR SAFETY IS IMPORTANT!
If this is an emergency, dial 911.
People suffering from abuse can be in danger if they are caught viewing a website geared toward helping victims and survivors.
To quickly exit this page, click the Emergency Exit button (bottom right of screen). When you click the X, this website will close immediately and your web browser will open a more neutral site (i.e. Google, Facebook).
If you are afraid your internet, computer or mobile browser usage might be monitored, please use a safer computer at a friend’s house, local library, school, or work.
To delete internet history in Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer, hold down Ctrl-Shift-Delete. Select the boxes of information you wish to delete and click “Delete Browsing History.”
In Safari, click the gear icon in the upper right and select Reset Safari. Select the boxes of information you wish to delete and click “Reset.”
Report Child Abuse
Reporting child abuse can be scary, but if you are a witness to or a victim of child abuse there is a huge benefit to making the report yourself. Being able to tell your story first hand gives the child care worker much better information than if it came from someone not involved.
Your story could save a life.
Our counselors are available to talk through child abuse situations if you have questions or need additional support. We can also help research additional resources that may be available to you.
If you believe that a child is in immediate danger, please contact 911 for help.
